About us

Our services

The primary scope of our business is shipping and freight forwarding via public road in Europe.

Adler-Trans gives priority to traffic/routes to and from Germany, Italy, France, the United Kingdom, the Benelux nations, and Spain, as well as Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia.

Our employees, who boast many years of experience and extensive connections, are aided in their work by modern office equipment and computer technology.

Because our information system ensures continous data and communications connections with our transport vehicles, customers receive automatic information and figures, as needed, until each job has been completed.

FTL/LTL

We ship general commercial cargo in full or less-than-full loads of max. 24 tonnes / 34 eur pallets using curtainside trailers.

We also accept jobs with unusually short deadlines using two-driver vehicles.

The placement of stand-by trailers at customers’ premises can be requested as necessary.

For the shipping of smaller quantities of cargo, we also offer groupage service, a speedy, reliable, safe, and highly economical solution for your less-than-truckload needs. Handling and dispatch takes place at our warehouse in Tatabánya. Door-to-door service is offered. Upon request, we can also conduct all on-carriage (first-mile collection). In the destination country, our vehicles deliver the goods directly to the consignee.

Italy:
  • Daily departures.
Northern France:
  • The departure times for fixed routes are set for every Monday and Friday.
England:
  • Fixed routes depart weekly on Monday and Sunday evening.
  • In England, groupage is always performed with 2-driver vehicles so that tight deadlines can be met.

Adler-Trans operates with a vehicle fleet consisting of VOLVO tractor units and SCHMITZ and KRONE curtainside and refrigerated semi-trailers.

Our tractors have an average age of 1.5 years and meet the Euro 6 emissions standard, the strictest of the European emissions classes.

All Adler-Trans semi-trailers are cranable and feature removable roofs, with loadable heights between 2.8 and 3.0 m. Our trailers are also certified to XL Code (EN 12642 XL) and are equipped with all required load-securing equipment (lashing straps, anti-slip mats, edge protectors, shoring bars, etc.).

Beyond the vehicles operated by Adler-Trans itself are those provided by our trusted sub-contractors under long-term charter agreements.

All of our vehicles are suitable for use for the transport of hazardous cargo (ADR).

Sustainability

Because Adler-Trans Ltd. is committed to environmental protection and sustainability, both issues enjoy priority in company decision-making.

Goals achieved over the years include:

  • Continuous fleet rejuvenation, resulting in a 17% decrease in fuel consumption over 4 years. Every one of our vehicles meets the very latest criteria associated with the modern Euro 6 emissions standard.
  • All warehousing activity is done exclusively by electric forklift.
  • New energy-saving measures have been taken at our business headquarters, resulting in reduced energy consumption. These include insulation of the buildings, replacement of gas heating with heat pumps, and installation of solar panels.
  • Replacement of our automobile fleet with hybrid and electric vehicles is underway.
  • All automobile drivers receive continuous driver safety and handling training with the aim of ensuring vehicles are operated to produce the lowest possible level of harmful emissions.
  • Our organisational and administrative processes are now virtually paperless, with efforts including the preparation of our ERP system for the use of e-CMR consignment notes.
  • We are currently in the process of switching our entire business operations over to digitised processes and paperless archiving.
  • All wastes are managed selectively.
